The FDA has proposed final guidelines for Calorie Disclosure font size for items sold in glass front vending machines. The FDA’s proposal mirrors NAMA’s recommendation on font size and is a win-win for both the industry and consumers. The proposal sets front-of-pack (FOP) font size and grants enforcement discretion to align with the Nutrition Facts Panel redesign (January 2020). Please make your voice heard and submit a comment letter supporting the FDA’s proposed regulation.
